Love is love- but what is love and where is it from?Is it an accidental by product of the random convocation, vibration and motion of quarks and molecules?
Or is it an undefinable mystical abstract, mindless, impersonal cosmic force that animates the universe?
Or is it rooted in the eternal, unchanging, character of an infinite-personal God?
Love is love- but I have to ask what is love and where is it from?
Is it merely a biological survival tool, thrust upon us by natural selection to perpetuate our genes?
Or is it a relative social construct, a social contract, rules shaped and defined by particular societies for particular ends?
Or is it purposefully built into the fabric of our existence to be a divine reflection of an eternal and pure relationship between Father, Son and Spirit in whose image we are made and called to partake in?
Love is love- but what is love and where is it from?
Is it rooted in our individual will and autonomy with nothing under girding it besides fluctuating desires?
Or is it rooted in someone purer, unchanging and majestic who has given it to us as a gift through which we can experience fulfillment and joy?
Love is love – but I have to ask what is love and where is it from?
